How will we order?
Approximately two weeks after your session we will meet for our in-person ordering appointment. It is at this time that you will be shown images from your session, as well as portraits and products that are available for purchasing. The ordering appointment often seems overwhelming at first, but rest assure that I will do my best to make this process an easy one. I just want you to get what you want and need. And, based on past client experience, you will be relieved when the decisions are made and all you have to do is look forward to receiving your beautiful portraits and products!
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash or personal check are accepted. Whatever works best for YOUR family.
Is every product listed in this packet?
Because of the custom nature of our session, additionall sizing or grouping recommendations and/or additional products may be presented at your ordering appointment. If so, pricing will be provided at that time.
How far in advance do I need to call to book my session?
Only a limited number of sessions are scheduled each month, so earlier is always better. Your session fee is always paid when you book your session.
What are collections?
Collections are an optional choice when purchasing your portraits and represent a grouping of portraits and/or products offered at special savings. Collections have been developed with past purchases in mind are designed to make deciding a bit easier, while saving YOU a bit of money as well.
My friend had her pictures taken by you and referred me. Do I get anything?
You sure do! If you are referred by another client who has come to me for portraits, you will receive a free 8 x 10 after your session. When YOU refer friends, you will receive another free 8 x 10.
Everyone look so good on your website! How can I look just as good for my session?
When you book, you and I will discuss what you can do to make sure your own natural beauty (or handsome-ness, as the case may be) shine through during the session. I offer hair and makeup help with an additional cost as well. Our most important goal is to do what it takes to help you feel amazing and confident and to have FUN on your session day.
How can I choose a location?
At our first consultation, we will discuss what vision you have for your portraits. I have a variety of locations in mind and can give you some ideas. Most importantly, we want to find a location that fits you and your specific style.
Do you have a minimum order?
Yes. There is a minimum purchase commitment of $200. Clients who schedule a session with me are looking for a unique, custom, portrait experience. I book a limited number of portrait sessions each month and having a minimum order lets clients know that working with me is an investment on both their part and mine. I work my very hardest to provide beautiful art for my clients’ home. My clients time and investment is valued, as is my time investment and the business I own.
