One of my really good friends called me up and asked me if I had time to take some senior pictures of her niece who was visiting from Idaho. I of course was more than happy to do it and couldn’t have had a better time with this beautiful girl. Vanessa is not only gorgeous but is incredibly smart and super fun to hang out with. I love these pictures and just think she is so beautiful!

I love it when my senior’s book their location up at Knights Ferry. It is always so beautiful up there and I love the excuse to go up in the hills and enjoy the beauty and fresh air! Paige is such an awesome girl and I loved taking these pictures for her. I brought her sister Sydney to Knights Ferry a few years ago for her senior pictures and it was so awesome to be able to do paige’s pictures in the same place even though Paige is actually graduating from college not high school. I love that! I wish I had more college grad’s booking sessions, what an accomplishment that is! Paige has such a sweet personality and she wanted to bring her cute little dog “mina” along since she has been there with her while she has been in college. I thought it was such a great idea and I fell in love with this adorable little dog!!

One of my most favorite times of year are when the almond trees are in blossom. It is so sad to me that they are only around for 2 weeks, they are so gorgeous and I only wish we could enjoy them longer. I love taking pictures in the blossoms it is the closest thing we ever get to having snow around here. When the blossoms cover the orchard floor it doesn’t get much more beautiful than that! The Garguile family got pictures in the orchard, in my opinion, at the perfect time. It was so beautiful and these pictures turned out gorgeous with the help of a darling family, a great location and a beautiful day giving off beautiful light. Thats my happy place!:)

I don’t think there are any babies that I take pictures of that aren’t as cute and sweet as ever. But this little angel has a little extra something special because not only is she beautiful and sweet but I love her and her mom so much and whenever I look at this sweet little face it reminds me of how incredibly awesome her mom is and how much I love them both!

While Aubrey was in her mommy’s tummy I took some maternity pictures for her and I am going to add a few of those here. Love you Brittney!!

Nikell is 5!

This little beauty just turned 5 and I cannot believe it! She looks so old in these pictures and I really have mixed feelings about it. I love her sweet little face and cannot take enough pictures of her. She loves to be in front of the camera and loves coming up with her own poses and silly faces. She also is so very patient with me and lets me try out all my crazy ideas on her.:) Nikell is such a good girl and really brings so much joy to my life. I love her so much!

Presly’s Cake Smash

I was so excited to see Presly take a handful of cake and stuff it in her mouth. She had, up to this point never had anything like cake before. no ice cream or sugary treats. She has barely even had juice. I thought she would go crazy over her birthday cake but I’ve never been more surprised. She tested it out and stuck her finger in the cake a few times and tasted it but then after that she didn’t want anymore to do with it. She however loved sticking the salt water taffy’s in her mouth with the wrapper on. This kid cracks me up. I tried to get her to smash the cake and take bigger handfuls but that was not happening. She didn’t want anything to do with it. I guess I should be ok with the fact that she didn’t inhale it .

My little one year old

Before Presly’s birthday I took her and her sister, Nikell up to knights ferry to take both of their birthday pictures. Nikell and Presly’s birthday’s are about 2 weeks apart. The next few posts will definitely be picture overload! >I took a million pictures these past few weeks of Presly just being cute, Presly and her cake smash, Nikell just being cute and then last but not least their joined ballerina birthday party.

Presly has been such a darling baby. She started out being a complete angel, making life pretty easy on my husband and I. She rarely cried and was for the most part a very content baby. At around 5 or 6 months we started to see that she began to have a little feisty edge.:) The pain of teething might have brought out a different side to sweet Presly. It is so funny to see her little personality form and change into a spunky little toddler before our eyes. We love her little feistiness and think it is hilarious when she gets worked up. Along with that she likes to put on a show and when she knows someone is laughing at her she continues to do whatever it is that is making them laugh. Life is so happy because this sweet baby is part of our family. We adore her so much!!

I had the opportunity to take some pictures of my sister in law’s family while they where visiting us. We only had about 20 mn to shoot because the light was fading fast. There are not many things I love more then taking pictures of a beautiful family at the most beautiful time of day. I love the golden, warm tones in these pictures and I love this family to death!
