Free Stuff!!!

Some of you may not know this but I have been a hair designer for about 9 years.  After having my two little girls I left the salon and started doing hair a little bit out of my home.  Now since I have been pursuing photography I have really tried to incorporate my hair and makeup knowledge into my photography.  I really wanted to do a give away this week because, lets be honest who doesn’t love free stuff??

I will be doing the drawing next wednesday at 11:00 p.m I will post the winner Thursday morning.

My worst hair experience was when I, a redhead wanted to go brown and it turned out pumpkin freaking orange….ahhhh!

Well, I’m already a fan :)
My worst hair experience was probably in 7th grade when I let Tricia Nield cut my hair. She just put a long line of tape across my shoulders and just cut under that. Awesome. Or actually it’s probably right now, seeing as I haven’t had a trim in FOREVER!

I’m SO already a fan and my worst hair experience was when I started high school I was supposed to get a “loose wave” perm. What is that? I have no idea.. but that’s what they called it. Instead, i got the tightest curls on the face of this planet. THEN.. to make maters worse, other than wanting got DIE, I thought if I got my hair dyed, it would get better. Did it? Nope. Instead, I got a super, 70′s ORANGE afro. If you don’t believe me, I will email you a pic and you can even post it on your blog if it means I win. Seriously. ;) Luv ya bunches.

My worst hair disaster was when I was going for black on my underneath and didn’t realize the color I actually got was purple! Whoops!

My worst experience was trying to find a good shade of red. I wanted a more orange tone than brown and that’s literally what I ended up with ORANGE. I kept it for a few weeks to let my hair rest in between so much processing, but I was so glad to go back to blond!

My worst hair experience was when I cut it short in highschool and had that straightener put on it that fried it and half of it fell out. It was awful. I’m having a bad experience right now too, with all the humidity:)

Worst hair disaster - definitely when I went red, and the end result was an hideous orange. The saddest part was that the stylist thought it looked good, so not only was I mortified looking in the mirror, but then I had the task or breaking the news to her that it did NOT look good, and that she needed to fix it. She did fix it, thankfully, but I would still classify it as a disaster.

Worst hair experience - went to a friend a my sisters to have my hair cut and she cut it all way too short in the front for curly hair - oh it looked so bad!

Ya, since my favorite hair dresser left the state, I had to find another one. After overpaying, telling her I wasn’t happy, being told to give it a couple of weeks, I left depressed! I am NOT A BLONDE!!!! I didn’t know you could have such crazy stripes in your hair. WHAAAAAAAAA

My worst hair experience was in the 8th grade. I wanted this super cute shorter hair cut with lots of wavy curls. Instead I got this really really short cut with horribly ugly tight curls. It looked horrid. I cried all night, and for days after. Worst part was, I did it the day before 8th grade graduation and there was a dance that night at the school!
